Musical Tots SG is a locally-curated music and movement programme for preschools, aiming to establish a strong musical foundation while children explore the world around them. Uniquely designed for Singapore, our curriculum is thoughtfully adapted to reflect our local culture, nurturing a profound sense of belonging and grounding in the younger generation as they cultivate their passion for music.
Our program is built upon the integration of the body, mind, and emotions, providing a holistic learning experience that revolves around the concept of “play” and experiential learning. It encompasses engaging activities such as musical games, dance, and movement. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love for music in young children and use music to build emotional awareness and resilience. With this approach, music becomes an enjoyable and helpful tool for learning and emotional regulation that is beneficial in today’s high stress environments.
Tailored for children aged 18 months to 6 years, our music curriculum draws inspiration from the Kodaly, Dalcroze, and Orff methodologies. Children stand to gain in various domains, including inner musicality, cognitive development, language, motor and kinetic skills, personal values, and social aptitude.
